BLOG 5 - How To Find Your Inner Peace

While I completely acknowledge and understand each individual out there is different and deals with their own feelings, pain and emotions in their own personal way, I do also now understand after years of personal development that peace is our natural state. All of the doubts, confusion, fears and hatred we experience in our lifetimes are behaviours we have learned. They are programs. Similar to computer software that has been installed into the hard drive, we have this behavioural software which has been installed, (so to speak), into our conscious and subconscious minds.

In my first book, "Lessons I Have Learned In My Life", link https://books2read.com/u/mVr16P, I went into this briefly when I explained how teachers at school would judge me, place me into categories and label me with negative words and statements that later became a belief about myself which stayed with me for years and years. These words were so ingrained into my conscious and subconscious minds, I believed them to be true for a long time before finally re programming my mind with new statements about myself.

Please understand when someone judges you or insults you, it actually doesn’t even have anything to do with you, even though it may be directed at you. This is a big lesson I have learned through my knowledge of personal development and understanding of psychology. That individual who does this is just unhappy with themselves, they don’t love and accept themselves so they choose to lash out at others unnecessarily. In a way, it is a cry for help. It may be that they have done something in the past that they are still holding onto the shame and guilt for and instead of facing up and healing this, they prefer to attack others.

The most important thing you can do is just not worry about what anyone else may think of you, just work on yourself. Read my second blog about how to learn to love yourself and work on this. Focus on becoming happy within yourself as an individual and healing any past hurt or trauma. Understand that everyone out there is on their own unique journey which includes learning different lessons from the ones like you and others had to learn for example.

Yoga, Calm, Release, Stretching

I cannot stress the importance of just loving who you are enough because the moment you fully love, respect and accept yourself for who you are, including all of your flaws, imperfections and your mistakes etc, that is the moment when you create inner peace. When you find your inner peace, your vibrational frequency radiates out into the Universe which then attracts like energy. Others who are on a similar wavelength to you. Have you ever heard the term “your vibe attracts your tribe”? it is absolutely spot on. Everything is energy.

Be at peace with who you are and the right people, circumstance and situations will come into your life as if by magic. I know this because I have done it myself.

Sky, Freedom, Happiness, Relieved
